When I trusted,
I was abused.
When I loved,
I was used.
When I was a young girl,
people said, "Believe me."
But now, I'm not young anymore
so I will believe who I want.
When I was a young girl,
people said, "Respect me."
But now, I'm not young anymore
so I will respect who I want.
When I believed,
I was lied to.
When I respected,
I was disappointed.
Good thing young girls grow up...
