My love more dear than this life you are to me
Your kisses more clear than the crystal of the sea
My angel weeps, I hear him cry

Please save me I have fallen here
I am lost and alone
Dry all our tears my son, come what may
In the end the sun will shine on one more day

My son I gave up all my worldly possessions on earth
To have you stripped away from me at birth
