As far as taking their exam the same day they register-No. NCLEXcandidates should call (need to call a minimum of 24 hours before) as soon as they receive their ATT letter so that they can get their desired date and location, because the testing centers are full by the time the testing date roles around.
Testing results can be accessed through our Web Site [ www.vue.com/nclex ] I spoke to a representative and this was our conversation:
Pam: Yes, they would be able to check their unofficial results on our website if the state board they are seeking licensure with participates in the quick results program.
Anneliese: how do they do that what section?
Pam: They would sign into their account on our website with their username and password on [ www.pearsonvue.com ] and when their results are ready (48 business hours after testing) they will have the option to clock on 'quick results.

Pam: Did you have any other questions today?
Anneliese: how do you know if your state participates?
Pam: The nurses will receive a letter about the quick results with their ATT letter and that will have the list of all the states that participate

Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas VN, Utah,
Washington,WestVirginia PN, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
For all other States the candidates will need to wait until the [ State Board ] mails their results to them. The Boards mail the results 2-4 weeks after testing occurred. Or, they may see if their name appears on their particular [ States website].
